At the previous stated communications, Bradford Lodge 35 was given instructions from the worshipful Master that the ceiling tiles in the down stairs needed rep-laced / repaired. After discussion on the floor, it was decided it would benefit us to remove the ceiling tiles in the area that had been damaged by water and replaced it with sheetrock. Browning Construction had done the roof and was consulted in regards to the ceiling repair with sheet rock. He advised us to consult with Billy Fife of Middleburg Florida. Brother Scott Roberts (JW) and Brother Charles Browning (SW) met with Mr. Fife and discussed the situation. Mr. Fife gave us a reasonable bid and was hired to repair the ceiling.

Brothers Scott Roberts and Brian Sutton, removed the old tiles and staples prior to the sheet rock crew arriving.

Saturday March 26th, Mr. Fife and his crew came in and placed the sheet rock on the ceiling. He needs to come back a couple times and finish the rock and prepare it to be painted.

We have made continous progress on the repairs to our lodge. Thank you to all that contribute.

Ceiling tiles in the Lodge Room upstairs replaced, Exterior Doors, Windows, Air Conditioner repair and the Kitchen are on our agenda yet.

After a lengthy discussion, it was decided the down stairs ceiling was the next major repair and instructions were given to proceed in the repairs. It was a joy to see the turn out. The meal was prepared and served by PM George Roberts, Scott Roberts and their wives and family.

It was a especially good to see Honorable George Pierce and his lovely wife as they made their appearance.

Bradford Lodge has had the heater repaired down stairs. The heater had to have the injector and pump replaced. Thanks to the donations from our Fratenal Brothers, we had enough to complete this repair. Brother and PM Mark Griffith repaired the fuel oil tank by welding the legs on it. He had to retrieve the tank using his tractor to take the tank to his welding / fabrication shop and to return it and set it. Brother Brian Sutton assisted in getting the legs and tank elevated and leveled.  So, be sure to thank them for their contribution to this effort.

In retrospect, our lodge has recieved significant repairs in the last twelve months. We have more repair projects planned in the near future. We hope the Brethren in the Lodge will see the significant changes and continue the momentum in achieving our goals forethcoming.

Bradford Lodge No. 35 sent out a request for donations in mid August 2010 to assist us in raising the necessary funds to replace the roof on our Lodge. We were blessed with a quick response from our Brethren and received enough to replace the roof on our Lodge. The roof was replaced with  "R" channel 26 gauge "Galvalum" roofing.  The Lodge received numerous quotes and after careful consideration from the building committee, the contract was awarded to Browning Construction Inc. The roof construction began on September 9, 2010 and was completed September 10, 2010. The metal is a continuous sheet from the peak to the eves, each sheet seam was sealed, and the edges were flashed. Some decking and facial boards were replaced along with new eaves drips  which were replaced.

Bradford Lodge No. 35 would like to say "Thank you" for your contributions!
